Well known for Raleigh and Diamondback we have introduced Kona, Giant and Dawes over the last few years and now do a far larger range of components from the likes of Marzocchi, Hope, DMR, Raceface, TroyLee, SRAM, and Fox. Our Product Range
Our main bike brands include Giant, Kona, Raleigh, Diamondback, Dawes, Haro, Bianchi and Dahon.
From Giant we pick a selection of their bikes including entry level Rock and a full selection of Boulder, Yukon, Rincon, Terrago, Enduro, Talon, XTC, Anthem, Faith, Glory, Reign , STP and Trance series, hybrid or city bikes from the CRS, FCR and Expression range , touring bikes, road and full racing bikes from the SCR and TCR and Advanced range, La free electric bikes and a selection of MTX kids bikes. Since Giant make 5.5+ million bikes a year very few brands can offer such good value and innovation. Little wonder 8 of the best known bike brands in the world get Giant to build their bikes. Giant probably have the most sophisticated carbon fiber production plant in the bike trade so all their carbon and carbon alloy hybrids are at the cutting edge of technology.
From Kona we select a full range of mountain for cross country, dirt jump, freeride and downhill all ideal for Glentress, Innerleithen, or any of the other Forestry Commission's 7 stanes sites in Scotland. Kona are one of the most common makes to see at the hire centres which is a good indication of reliability and value. We also keep a range of fast commuting hybrids and town bikes. We usually have a Stinky, Coiler, Dawg, CoilAir and Hoss for test riding. We have the Cowan, Stuff and Shred from the dirt jump range and the Kula, Zing, Dew, Lisa and Jake range in stock to view. We keep a wide spread of models within the range from the standard to Deluxe, Primo and top of the range Supreme.
From Raleigh we keep a good cross section of the range. We have delt with Raleigh for over 50 Years so no one in Edinburgh or probably Scotland knows more about them. We particularly like their kids range as it offers quality and looks they will love. Raleigh has also reintroduced the world famous Chopper after almost 30 years. Raleigh also offer a great range of comfort hybrids and mountainbikes with upright riding positions for someone just wanting to enjoy their cycling. We keep the Metro, Voyager, Freeride, Explore, Venture, M-Trax and Airlite ranges in stock most of the year.
Diamondback have their roots back in the early days of BMX which shows in their range from the cheapest Voxx to the top line Fubar. Their mountain bike range also offers some upmarket design features at very reasonable prices. Their full suspension bikes are hard to tell apart from some far dearer brands. They have recently updated the MTB models bringin back some old names like Sorrento, Apex, Peak and Outlook. The 2009 range will include a gear box drive system on the Sabbath.
Dawes are a well known British manafacturer who have been on the go since the 1920's. Their touring bikes particularly the Galaxy have been the benchmark for generations of tourers. We also keep a wide selection of their Discovery hybrid and Giro road bikes. Dawes have introduced some kids bikes to the range all with light alloy frames . You can see more in the Dawes section.
Haro have been at the top of the BMX scene for over 25 years so it dosn't take much to realise why we have them in stock. Their team riders have a lot of input designing the range which is particularly obvious with the the Nyquist Series. This year sees the introduction of the Forum range.
Bianchi are one of the best recognised road bike manufacturers in the world. Seen every year in the Tour de France and all the other big Pro events they ooze history having made bikes in Italy for over 120 years. Even now all the bikes we keep are still made in Italy a claim most manufacturers cant make. We keep a range including the Via Nirone, 1885 , 928 Carbons and can order the top range Freccia and Infinito Bikes and the mega light Oetzi Carbon and the aluminium Mutt mountain bike range. If you fancy a test ride get in touch and we can organise a time and date.
